Terms of Sale
These terms shall apply unless otherwise agreed between the contracting parties. The term “seller” used in the text refers to Oy T. Stenbacka Ab.
DELIVERY TERM
FCA (Incoterms 2020), Free Carrier (named place of delivery).
DB Schenker and Posti collect shipments daily from the seller’s warehouse according to agreed schedules.
Copper wire deliveries of at least 250 kg net are delivered freight-free within Finland.
If no carrier is specified in the purchase order, the seller will use its own contracted transport services.
BACK ORDERS
Freight for back orders is paid by the customer, unless otherwise stipulated by the delivery terms.
PACKAGING
The seller charges the cost price for packaging or transport materials.
PRICES
For all sales, the price on the day of delivery applies, unless otherwise agreed. Prices are based on the currency exchange rates on the offer date. Should exchange rates or other costs change by more than ±2%, the seller reserves the right to a corresponding price adjustment. All prices are exclusive of value-added tax (VAT 0%).
Invoices are generally in electronic format. A charge of EUR 7.60 will be applied for paper invoices.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Payment term is 14 days net, unless otherwise agreed. An 11% late payment interest will be charged after the due date. In addition to late payment interest, the seller is entitled to collect reasonable collection costs.
EXPRESS DELIVERY
Express deliveries will be charged according to additional costs.
MINIMUM ORDER VALUE
The minimum order value is EUR 75 (product price, VAT 0%).
COMPLAINTS
Any complaints must be made to the seller within eight (8) business days of receiving the goods. The seller reserves the right either to repair the faulty goods or replace them with new, identical, or similar goods. The seller cannot be obliged to compensate for other direct or indirect costs. Upon the seller’s request, the customer must return the goods subject to complaint.
RETURN OF GOODS
The return of goods and the terms of return must always be agreed upon separately between the parties. Returns must always include the date and number of the invoice or delivery note. The seller will not reimburse any freight and packaging costs. Returns will be at the seller’s expense only if there is a delivery error, product defect, or other similar circumstance.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS FOR RETURNABLE REELS AND PACKAGING
The seller will refund for returned plastic copper wire reels used by Dahrén Sweden Ab, in good condition, including their EUR packaging materials. From the charged price of returnable reels and packaging materials, a 10% handling fee will be deducted. The sender pays the freight for returns.
In other respects, the general terms of sale of the Federation of Finnish Technology Industries (TK Yleiset 2010) shall apply.
